Triple felon facing three years in prison

LOCKPORT – A man who pleaded guilty to three felonies – two drug crimes and an escape – was sentenced by State Supreme Court Justice Richard C. Kloch Sr. Thursday to three years in prison and two years of post-release supervision.

Adaberto Olivieri-Perez, 24, of Willow Avenue, Niagara Falls, had pleaded guilty to attempted first-degree escape for fleeing from a U.S. marshal’s patrol car Jan. 14, 2014, after his arrest in Niagara Falls. Olivieri-Perez also pleaded guilty to third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance for selling heroin to a police informant in the Falls Oct. 21, 2013, and to third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance for having cocaine with the intention of selling it when police riaded his apartment June 19, 2013.
