North Tonawanda man and woman arrested on drug charges after traffic stop

A traffic stop for a broken taillight on Main Street in Clarence Wednesday night led to drug charges against two North Tonawanda residents, State Police said.

Troopers said they found a bottle containing anti-anxiety pills in the vehicle driven by Stephen D. Roland, 32, who was driving with a suspended license and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. A passenger in the vehicle, Stacey L. Geer, 44, also was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Both face a future appearance in Clarence Town Court.
