Man accused of biting bar patron feels teeth of the law

A Buffalo man who bit another patron at a downtown bar last weekend has been charged with assault, Buffalo police said Thursday.

Kenneth C. Clark Jr., 23, allegedly jumped on the man’s back, hit him on the head and bit his left forearm at about 3:10 a.m. Sunday in Encore, at 492 Pearl St., according to Lt. Ralph Zangara, a Central District police supervisor.

Clark was also charged with harassment and trespassing for allegedly refusing to leave the club when told by management to do so, police said. According to initial reports, a club employee called 911 shortly after 3 a.m. and reported a “large fight” at the nightspot, drawing a response from several patrol officers in the area.
