Two men rob Niagara Falls man on Ashland

NIAGARA FALLS – A 26–year–old man was knocked down and a knife held to his neck during an armed robbery in the 1300 block of Ashland Avenue Tuesday night.

He told police that just after 9 p.m. Tuesday he was approached on the street by two men. The heavier of the two men hit him in the back of the head, knocking him down, while the other man placed a pocket knife to his neck. The heavier man then took his cell phone, wallet, cash and wristwatch. Both fled towards an abandoned building in the block. Total loss was $595.

Both men are described as black males. One male was about 5 foot 9 inches tall, 160 pounds and wearing a lime green hoodie. The other was 5-foot-7-inches tall, 190 pounds, wearing a black T-shirt and black jeans.
