Pendleton woman charged with jobless aid fraud

LOCKPORT – A Pendleton woman is accused of receiving nearly $5,000 in unemployment benefits while she was gainfully employed.

Elizabeth L. Kinan, 31, was charged Sunday with felony charges of third–degree grand larceny, offering a false instrument in filing and falsifying business records. The state Department of Labor alleges that Kinan obtained more than $4,800 in unemployment benefits between Sept. 9, 2011, and Aug. 26, 2012. State Police assisted in the investigation.
