LOCKPORT – Two residents of Washburn Street in Lockport were arraigned in State Supreme Court Monday on charges of selling drugs on that street.
Pleading not guilty to the indictments were Jesus M. Ubiles Sr., 67, and Tina M. Schaner, 44.
Ubiles is charged with two counts of fourth-degree sale and fifth-degree possession of a controlled substance. He allegedly sold the painkiller hydrocodone to police informants on Sept. 5 and 9. Schaner, charged with two counts each of fifth-degree sale and possession, allegedly sold clonazepam, a mental health drug, to an informant on Oct. 21 and 22.
Justice Richard C. Kloch Sr. allowed both defendants to go free on their own recognizance.
