Police report finding drugs in a stolen car

A man and woman face multiple charges after police allegedly found them over the weekend in South Buffalo in a rental car that had been reported stolen. Officers said additional charges were filed after narcotics were found in the vehicle.

The driver, Lydia M. Boutwell, 39, and passenger Claude E. Seay, 52, apparently both of them Buffalo residents, both face narcotics and stolen property charges after police said they found eight fentynal patches and a hydrocodone pill.

The vehicle had allegedly been stolen from a Budget Rental office in Cheektowaga on March 17.
