Buffalo couple faces heroin, child endangerment charges

A Buffalo couple accused of heroin possession early Saturday prompted a report to the county’s child protection agency because the pair had an infant in their Jeep when arrested, police said.

Danielle Bousquet, 28, and Anthony Nardello, 37, both of the same address on Sanders Road, were charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance after police encountered them at Black Rock Harbor on Squaw Island just before 1 a.m., according to a police report.

They also were charged with endangering the welfare of a child — a baby less than 2 months old, officers said.

The Jeep was impounded. The baby was entrusted to Nardello’s mother. And a report was filed with the county’s Department of Child Protective Services, police said.
