To raise money for a trip, Timon students were putting a price on their own heads. When enough money was raised, they’d get their head shaved into a Mohawk haircut.

Thirty-five years ago this week, Abbott Road barber Joe Corto sculpted Jim Lawson’s head into what he called a “double-Indian.”
