Cherry Creek man arrested for felony DWI in Ellicott

MAYVILLE – A 33-year-old Cherry Street man was arrested by state police for allegedly driving erratically along Route 60 in the Town of Ellicott just after midnight Sunday.

Bruce E. Jedrysik failed field sobriety tests and after being taken to the State Police bureau in Jamestown was shown to have a blood-alcohol level of 0.16 per cent, twice the state’s legal limit.

Jedrysik was charged with felony driving while intoxicated with a prior DWI conviction in the last ten years, felony aggravated unlicensed driving, reckless driving and failure to keep right. After being arraigned in Ellicott Town Court he was remanded to the Chautauqua county Jail here without bail.
