No reason for bus rides to be so long in Holland
I live in the Holland School District, less than two miles from the elementary school, yet my children will be on the bus 55 minutes in the afternoon. That is unacceptable. In the past, my children were on the bus no more than 20 minutes. There are many families living within three miles of the school whose children are also facing this extremely long bus ride.
The superintendent claims “protocol.” She is unwilling to fix this issue. I am just trying to figure out why my children are being subjected to a 55-minute bus ride for no logical reason. Can anyone explain this to me?
