NIAGARA FALLS – Two men wearing black hoodies were seen running from a fire that destroyed a vacant two-story house Tuesday night on Cedar Avenue. The fire has been labeled “suspicious” and is under investigation, according to Niagara Falls Fire Investigator Gerald Aderhold.

Aderhold said the fire was reported at 11:40 p.m. at 732 Cedar Avenue.

“The fire was mostly on the second floor balcony and the front room, but it actually went down the staircase, so both floors” were damaged, said Aderhold.

He said the house was considered a total loss. Damage was listed at $25,700.
