With assistance of agents from the State Police, police officers broke into homes at 52, 58 and 61 Franklin about 6 a.m. Police Capt. Robert Samuelson said the raids led to the seizure of 260 doses of alleged heroin, a loaded sawed-off shotgun and what he called “a large sum of cash.”

Taken into custody on felony controlled substance charges were Jose Sanquiche, 37, Juan M. Vargas-Lopez, 30, Stephanie Castro, 26 and Raul Rodriquez-Colon, 62. Rodriquez-Colon was also charged with criminal possession of a firearm for the seizure of a loaded shotgun at 61 Franklin. All four remain jailed.

Samuelson said anyone with information on narcotics sales in their Jamestown neighborhoods is asked to call the Jamestown Police Anonymous Tip Line at 483-8477. He said all such calls are kept confidential.
