Murderers of two victims deserve harshest punishment
The Aug. 23 News carried two horrific stories that happened at opposite sides of the globe but were so common in nature.
In both of these stories the two victims were vibrant, productive, contributing citizens whose lives were cut short by cowardly parasite predators. In both cases the victims were detained, threatened and terrorized, and ultimately murdered.
In one, 61-year-old Mary E. Whitaker was accosted and threatened in her home by two homeless, unemployed, cowardly vagabonds who ultimately took her life. They then stole her credit cards and vehicle and drove off as if nothing had happened.
In the other atrocity, another cowardly predator hiding behind a mask making threats and demands to America beheaded James W. Foley while his hands were bound behind his back.
May the two victims rest in peace.
