Dream Center helps people much more than football
What has happened to our priorities?
On one hand we have millions of dollars offered for a group of guys playing a game with a ball. On the other hand, the Rev. Eric T. Johns is being evicted from his venue of 20 years where he is doing excellent work helping others (Aug. 21 News, “Pastor of the homeless makes plea for rescue of his vanishing mission”).
The games are exciting, but I feel certain that lives have been improved and probably saved by Johns and his Dream Center during the past 20 years.
Buffalo, are you still the City of Good Neighbors? Let’s show the reverend we appreciate all he has done and wants to continue doing.
