America must take action to protect its soldiers
Having been a veteran of the Korean War and having had two older brothers serve in World War II, a physician and flight engineer, I am quite aware of the misery of war. Particularly that my parents’ anguish was constant fearing they might receive army notification their sons were seriously injured or killed. Fortunately, their sons came home well.
Today, however, frequent newspaper and TV news reports that our “brother and sister” Christians and Americans are being daily murdered and mutilated overseas is aggravating. If ever there was a valiant time to militarily exterminate “savages,” this is it, now.
For once our politically responsible leaders here and in Washington must take immediate action to end suffering. Heaven knows it is not complicated. Our hands are clean.
