The Buffalo Bandits better be in shape for the 2015 season. Their schedule for the new season features four sets of back-to-back games, the most of any team in the National Lacrosse League.
The Bandits open the season with back-to-back games, beginning with Jan. 2 contest at Connecticut in Mohegan Sun Arena. The Connecticut franchise is the former Philadelphia Wings, the longtime rival of the Bandits going back to the Major Indoor Lacrosse League days. Buffalo then returns home the next night (Jan. 3) for its home opener at First Niagara Center at 7:30 p.m. against Edmonton.
The Bandits’ other sets of back-to-back games are Jan. 30 (vs. Minnesota) and Jan. 31 (at Rochester), a home-and-home March 13-14 against Toronto with the first game against the Rock slated for First Niagara Center, and April 25 (Vancouver) and 26 (at Connecticut).
The Bandits face Toronto and Rochester three times each, but will host each of those teams just once due to the scheduling format.
Ticket information for the nine Buffalo home games will be announced at a later date.
