NORTH TONAWANDA – The Lions Club will offer a benefit on Sept. 21 for the family of longtime North Tonawanda resident Michael Potter, a past member of the Sheridan Drive Lions Club and school bus driver for First Student, who died of pancreatic cancer on July 15.

The family faces overwhelming medical bills, event sponsors said.

The benefit will be held from 1 to 6 p.m. in the Knights of Columbus, 755 Erie Ave. Tickets are $20 for adults, $10 for children ages 5 to 17 and free for children younger than 5. Tickets will be sold at the door.

Featured are food, music, a 50/50 raffle, basket raffle and baked goods sale.
