Tonight is a big Buffalo Bisons finale for several reasons, so fans are being urged by the team to arrive early for the 6:05 Fan Appreciation Day game.

News Reporter Amy Moritz wrote in today's story:

"With fewer than 6,000 tickets remaining as of Monday night, fans are urged to go to will call early, especially to redeem flex tickets, vouchers or rainout tickets. The box office opens at 9 a.m."

As part of the Fan Appreciation event, there will be giveaways every half inning, and at the conclusion of the game the players will hold their own version of a T-shirt toss before fireworks finish the evening.

The game is a hugely important one for the Bisons in the standings, as last night's 6-2 loss to Pawtucket left them one game out of the International League wild-card race.

Moritz's game story also includes key info on tonight's pitching showdown between the Bisons' Daniel Norris (3-0, 1.08 ERA in three Triple-A starts) and Pawtucket's Henry Owens (1-1, 3.51), who is one of the top prospects in the Red Sox organization.
