The village celebrates its annual outdoor Fine Arts/Craft Show and Music Festival from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday along Central Avenue.

Exhibits will feature handmade items and entertainment will be offered throughout the day; Stone Row will be on stage from 4 to 6 p.m.

Artwork from local children and senior citizens will be on display, and a children’s art area will be set up where youth can get creative.

This week:

• A Village Board work session begins at 6 p.m. Monday, followed by a business meeting at 7, in the Municipal Building, 5423 Broadway.

• The School Board meets at 7 p.m. Monday in the former Central Avenue Elementary School, 149 Central Ave.

• The Lancaster Market, selling locally-grown food and handcrafted items, is open from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Kate’s Cousins Market, 6183 Broadway; and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday at 4913 Transit Road in the parking lot at Lancaster Lanes.

• Lancaster Volunteer Ambulance Corps is holding its annual chicken and rib dinner from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday at its headquarters at 40 Embry Place. The event benefits the LVAC’s EMS bike team. Dinners can be purchased online, at www.lancasterambulance.org, and will be ready for pickup.
