Two arrested, two more sought after Dunkirk drug raid

DUNKIRK – Two women were arrested on drug charges and two men are sought after police executed a search warrant about 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the apartment they shared in the 600 block of Grant Avenue, Dunkirk police report.

Kayla A. Hoffman, 21, was charged felony possession of a controlled substance in the third degree and the fifth degree.

Yanira Corraliza-Maestre, 20, faces misdemeanor charges of using drug paraphernalia and seventh-degree possession of a controlled substance.

Both women are being held for arraignment before City Court Judge Walter F. Drag.

Police said they are conducting an intensive manhunt for Antoine C. Jones and Shamaar Braggs, who reportedly also lived at the Grant Avenue address but were not there at the time of the raid. Felony arrest warrants have been issued for them.

Anyone with information on their whereabouts is encouraged to call Dunkirk police at 366-2266 or 363-0313.

Police reports state that city police and Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force agents also seized several hundred dollars worth of crack cocaine packaged for street sale, along with scales, packaging materials and a significant amount of cash.

Police said investigators conducted extensive surveillance of the Grant Avenue residence after neighborhood complaints of drug-related activity there.
