A Buffalo man convicted of selling counterfeit currency was sentenced Monday to time served and three months home confinement by Chief U.S. District Judge William M. Skretny.

Novel Rogers, 26, manufactured more than $20,000 in counterfeit currency over about two months in 2013, Assistant U.S. Attorney MaryEllen Kresse said. Rogers then sold about $6,000 of the currency.
