False gun call leads police to drug arrest

A Dodge Street man who falsely reported a gun-related incident to police was subsequently arrested on a drug charge, Central District police said.

At 3 a.m. Thursday, officers were dispatched to Dodge and Jefferson Avenue after receiving a gun call. With help from a civilian, police determined that Kelliey Robinson, 34, made the call. He possessed a pipe with crack cocaine residue.

Robinson was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and third-degree falsely reporting an incident, both misdemeanors.
