A driver whose blood-alcohol content was more than three times the legal limit was arrested late Wednesday in Lancaster, Erie County sheriff’s deputies reported.
Daniel Vohwinkel, 51, was pulled over shortly before midnight after a deputy spotted vehicle being driven erratically on Broadway, authorities said. Vohwinkel, whose hometown wasn’t identified, had a blood-alcohol content of .26, deputies said, more than three times the legal limit of .08.
Vohwinkel was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated because his BAC exceeded .18. He was issued tickets to appear in court and released in the custody of third party, deputies said.
