The Woods at Bear Creek celebrated the grand opening of its glamping resort recently at 3510 Bear Creek Road, Franklinville. The Woods at Bear Creek offers its visitors upscale camping accommodations. The 750-acre property features 16 fully furnished, two-bedroom, full bathrooms, heated and air-conditioned cabins. All cabins include WiFi and flat-screen TVs provided with DirectTV. The resort also offers 25 glamping tents, which are assembled, platform-based safari style tents appointed with carpet, mattress and bedding and furniture. Non-inclusive rates begin at $189 per night, and all-inclusive rates begin at $229 per night.
The John R. Oishei Foundation has established an office of philanthropic support to provide management assistance in the field to support and sustain the work of its grantees and other local nonprofits. Karen Lee Spaulding, vice president of philanthropic support, will spearhead the effort.

The presale ticketing partners, Tops, Wegmans, Noco and Dash’s Market, also played an important role in the substantial donation.
