State Senate hopeful Arnold hits the campaign trail

NORTH TONAWANDA – Gia M. Arnold, a candidate in the Republican primary for 62nd District state senator, will bring her campaign onto her opponent’s home turf tonight.

Arnold, a Holley resident, announced she will hold a “meet-and-greet” from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. today in the North Tonawanda Public Library, 505 Meadow Drive. North Tonawanda Mayor Robert G. Destino of Niagara Falls, who also is seeking an independent ballot line, awaits the Republican winner in November.

Arnold also plans campaign appearances from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in the Echo Club, 341 Portage Road, Niagara Falls, and from 6;30 to 8:30 p.m. Aug. 13 in the Hoag Library, 134 S. Main St., Albion.
