The Buffalo Sabres officially announced their preseason schedule Thursday, and revealed family-friendly prices for the three home games in First Niagara Center.

The home games will be Sept. 23 against Carolina, Sept. 26 against Toronto and Oct. 1 against Washington. All will be 7 p.m. starts.

The Sabres will open the exhibition schedule Sept. 21 at Washington, and will also travel to Toronto on Sept. 28 and to the preseason finale Oct. 3 at Carolina.

Tickets for all preseason games will go on sale Aug. 25 at 10 a.m. They are $35 for 200 Level and 100 Level I-II-III, $20-$25 for the rest of the 100 level, $20 for 300 Level I and $15 for 300 Level II-III-IV.

The team also announced that the Aug. 25 date will mark the start of ticket sales for the USA Hockey All-American Prospects Game. It will be played in the arena on Sept. 25 and is likely to feature Boston University center Jack Eichel, expected to be one of the top two picks in next June’s NHL draft.

Tickets for the Prospects Game will be $15 for 100 and 200 Level and $10 for the 300 Level.

Meanwhile, the Sabres appear primed to add another member to their coaching staff with word that former Ted Nolan aide Danny Flynn is leaving his post with Moncton of the Quebec League to join his former boss in Buffalo.

Flynn’s move back to the NHL was reported Thursday The Q News, a website dedicated to the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, and by Halifax Mooseheads radio announcer John Moore.

Flynn, 56, is director of hockey operations for Moncton and served there as an assistant under Nolan in 2005-06, as well as with Sault Ste. Marie of the OHL during the 1990s and the New York Islanders in 2006-07. He is a former head coach of Moncton as well.

Nolan has also made a deal with Hall of Famer Bryan Trottier to join the staff, The News reported on Tuesday. The Sabres have yet to confirm any hirings.
