ACP Technologies, an information technology provider, named Dario Gonzalez and Jorge Santiago service desk technicians. Gonzalez is a graduate of ITT Technical Institute. He previously was a network operations supervisor at Delaware North Cos. and also served for 20 years with the U.S. Air Force. Santiago recently worked as a bilingual customer service representative at M&T Bank.


St. Mary School in Swormville appointed Mary Jo Aiken as principal. She replaces Sister Sheila Anne Burke, longtime principal, who died in June. Aiken for the past four years served as principal of Fourteen Holy Helpers School in West Seneca and previously was principal at Saint Mark Elementary School in Venice, Calif., for four years before relocating to Buffalo. She holds master’s degrees from the University at Buffalo and earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Toronto.


Lutheran Jamestown President and Chief Executive Officer Tom Holt was nominated by Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo and appointed by the State Senate to the Public Health and Health Planning Council. Holt has more than 25 years of experience in the skilled-nursing, long-term care and senior housing field. The council makes recommendations to the commissioner of health concerning major construction projects, service changes and equipment acquisition in health care facilities and home care agencies.

Company Connections

Cardiology Group of Western New York, a local cardiology practice, has acquired the new Discovery NM 530 nuclear imaging system. The new imaging system will reduce scanning time for heart scans from the usual 15 to 20 minutes, to three to five minutes for each scan.


Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino has signed on as one of the co-sponsors for the National Buffalo Chicken Wing Festival Aug. 30 and 31 in Coca-Cola Field. This year’s festival will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the chicken wing. As part of its sponsorship, Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino, along with Seneca Niagara Casino & Hotel in Niagara Falls, will serve as an exclusive location for presale festival tickets. In addition, Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino will be the title sponsor for the U.S. Professional Wing Eating Championship during the event weekend. The casino will also host a meet-and-greet with the competitors Aug. 30.


AP Professionals, a search staffing firm, recently opened a new office in Syracuse. The company was founded in Buffalo in 1993 by Joseph Kreuz.


Joe DiLeo, a general agent at MassMutual in Buffalo, won a $5,000 community service award from MassMutual for his work in support of children with cancer in the region. The funds will go to the PUNT Foundation, which was founded by Bills punter Brian Moorman, who is a friend of DiLeo’s. The foundation helps families pay for unanticipated expenses while their children receive oncology care in the hospital.
