The Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra is taking its show on the road this week, with two concerts away from Kleinhans Music Hall.

At 7 p.m. Friday, the BPO is teaming up with saxophone legend Bobby Militello and singer Nancy Kelly for an evening of sultry jazz. The concert takes place at First Presbyterian Church on Symphony Circle across from Kleinhans. Bring a picnic to enjoy on the circle before or after the show, or help yourself from a variety of food trucks. Admission is $19-$49.

At 8 p.m. Wednesday, Music Director JoAnn Falletta leads the Philharmonic in a concert celebrating the opening of the 175th Erie County Fair. The orchestra will be playing music by George Gershwin, Duke Ellington, John Phillip Sousa and others. Admission to this concert is free, with paid fair admission.
