“Horton Hears a Who” will be shown at the Aurora Theatre on July 30.

The outdoor summer films at the University at Buffalo’s North and South campuses now start a bit earlier, at 8:45 p.m. Next up are recent hits “Neighbors” (Aug. 1) and “The Other Woman” (Aug. 5 and 8) at Baird Point, while “The Other Woman” screens at South Campus on Aug. 6.

The wee ones can enjoy “Horton Hears a Who” at 11 a.m. July 30 in the Aurora Theatre (673 Main St., East Aurora). Kids can meet the Fisher-Price “Laugh & Learn” friends before the screening.

Mom and dad can choose from “The Big Lebowski” on Aug. 3 and 6 at the Regal Quaker Crossing and “The Dark Knight” at Canalside on July 29. The latter is part of Squeaky Wheel’s summer film series.

And the Buffalo Infringement Festival nears its close (Aug. 3) with the “Final Friday Film Freakout” at 7 p.m. on Aug. 1, and if you find anything to do that evening with a better name, I’d like to hear about it.
