PENDLETON – A homeowner in the 4000 block of Tonawanda Creek Road found a box of nails had been thrown on her driveway and into the roadway just before 9 a.m. Monday.

She said this is the ninth time this has happened.

The 54-year-old woman said her son had three tires flattened in the past because of the vandalism. Deputies said they found an opened box of “Blue Hawk” nails which had been spread around the area and estimated there were 100 to 150 nails.
