JAMESTOWN – Pioneering television talk show host Phil Donahue will be the featured guest as the Robert H. Jackson Center holds a fundraising reception and dinner at 5 p.m. Aug. 10 in Chautauqua Suites Hotel & Expo Center, 215 W. Lake Road, Mayville.

Tickets are $100, with proceeds supporting the center’s youth education programs. Seating is limited. For reservations, call 483-6646 or email info@robertjackson.org.

Donahue, who holds the record for hosting the longest-running syndicated TV talk show in history, is credited with introducing audience participation to the talk show format. He is married to the actress Marlo Thomas.
