Gunman misses target, then the gun jams

A gunman missed his target with the first shot – then the gun jammed repeatedly.

The attempted shootiong ocurred about 10 p.m. Sunday in the 100 block of Liddll Street, police said.

The 29-year-old target told police the gunman, wearing a black hoodie and jeans, got out of the passenger side of a Chrysler Sebring and fired the shot from a black handgun. As the victim fled west, the gunman tried to fire additional rounds but it appeared the gun jammed, police said.
