Startup Grind Buffalo, the local chapter of an international organization meant to encourage networking among entrepreneurs, will hold its next event on Wednesday.

Mitchell Patterson is the guest speaker at the event, which runs from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. in Dig, the co-working space at the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus Innovation Center, 640 Ellicott St. Patterson will speak at 7 p.m.

He is a veteran advisor to, and investor in, high-tech start-ups who currently serves as vice president of Armory Square Ventures, a venture capital fund with offices in Syracuse and New York City.

Startup Grind has chapters in 100 cities in 42 countries. The Buffalo chapter, organized by Eben Piazza, was started this spring.
