Friday: Day 5 of 20.

Highlight: Marcell Dareus looked good in his first practice of training camp, and the defense looked good overall, throwing some creative blitzes at the quarterbacks.

Happy birthday: The players serenaded coach Doug Marrone with a chorus of “Happy Birthday” after the practice. It was Marrone’s 50th.

Offense: Receivers Sammy Watkins and Mike Williams made nice plays throughout the evening. The backup QBs, Jeff Tuel and Thad Lewis, did not get much done.

Tweaks: Fred Jackson left practice early after tweaking his lower left leg. It didn’t look serious. Tight end Tony Moeaki and safety Kenny Ladler tweaked hamstrings.

Schedule: The Bills practice again at 6 tonight. There are no more tickets available for the session. The team practices at 2 p.m. Sunday and 8 a.m. Monday.
