Clarence troopers arrested Jessica L. Gramza, 24, of Lancaster, for aggravated driving while intoxicated Wednesday night, State Police said.

Troopers responded to a call from a concerned driver, who followed the erratic driver after she struck another vehicle while driving northbound on Transit Road, officials said.

The troopers located Gramza’s vehicle, which had pulled into the McDonald’s parking lot on Transit Road in Clarence. The troopers found slight damage to the front of Gramza’s vehicle, consistent with a front-end collision, but no reports from the driver whose vehicle was hit had been made in surrounding police departments.

Gramza showed signs of intoxication and failed roadside sobriety tests. She submitted a breath sample, which showed her blood alcohol concentration was .22 percent.

In addition to DWI, Gramza was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th and possession of a controlled substance not in the original container. Troopers issued her traffic and appearance tickets to appear in the Town of Clarence Court on a later date.
