Buffalo man accused of disrupting church service

NIAGARA FALLS – Police charged a 20-year-old Buffalo man with disrupting a religious service Sunday, following a disturbance at the Potter’s House church on Seventh Street.

According to reports, Jonathon J. Singletary, 20, was begging parishioners for money prior to the Sunday morning service. After being asked to leave the premises, Singletary reportedly became loud and abusive, shouting profanities and making threats against the church and parishioners. Police said he also tried to smash a window of a car parked at the site.
