Lockport man accused of Niagara Falls car break-ins

NIAGARA FALLS – A Lockport man arrested Monday is accused of two car break-ins and the burglary of a car parked in a garage.

Damar D. Warren, 22, of South Street, was charged with burglary, and three counts each of petit larceny and possession of stolen property.

Stopped on Rivershore Drive just after 2 a.m., carrying a bag of items, wearing one glove and carrying a flashlight and screwdriver, Warren told authorities he was walking home to Lockport from Niagara Falls, police said. Warren at the time was carrying two cases with 100 CDs, an ashtray, two phone chargers, a watch, keys, hooded shirt and a pack of cigarettes, police said. Police determined the items on Warren were from cars in the area, authorities said.
