Man stabbed in Hedge Street home robbery

Two men broke into a Jamestown home armed with knives and stabbed one of the residents in the chest. The men then robbed the residents of cash and other property at their home on the 100 block of Hedge Street.

The stabbing happened at about 1 a.m. today. The injured victim is listed in stable condition at WCA Hospital.

Police said this was not a random act of violence; it appears the suspects targeted the house and occupants.

The unknown suspects, who fled before police arrived, had their faces covered.
