Falls man admits to selling cocaine

LOCKPORT – A Niagara Falls man pleaded guilty to a drug-dealing charge Tuesday in Niagara County Court.

Jacob P. Beghtol, 27, of Sherwood Avenue, pleaded guilty to fifth-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance. He sold cocaine to a police informant Dec. 5 near the corner of 36th Street and Chapin Avenue, Assistant District Attorney Laura T. Bittner said.

Beghtol faces up to 2 1/2 years in prison when he is sentenced Sept. 23 by Judge Matthew J. Murphy III.
