A Buffalo man convicted of conspiracy to distribute cocaine was sentenced Tuesday to seven years in prison by U.S. District Judge Richard J. Arcara.

From July to October 2008, Orville Rodriguez, 31, sold 10 kilograms of cocaine to Marcus Chambers on three separate occasions, receiving payments totaling $1 million, said Assistant U.S. Attorney Edward H. White.

Chambers was convicted of similar drug charges.

The sentencing was the culmination of an investigation by the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
