Probe targets theft of landscaping equipment worth $1,200

TOWN OF LOCKPORT – Niagara County sheriff’d deputies are investigating the theft of $1,200 worth of landscaping equipment from Reynolds Property Management on Murphy Road.

The theft occurred between 9:30 p.m. Thursday and 7:30 a.m. Friday, when someone entered an unlocked vehicle, stole a set of keys and then entered a storage shed. A backpack blower and weed and hedge trimmers were stolen, police added.
