LOCKPORT – A Somerset marijuana grower pleaded guilty to a reduced felony charge Thursday in Niagara County Court.
Ralph D. Fuller, 49, of Lake Road, was arrested Oct. 9 when police raided his home and seized approximately 14 pounds of the drug. He was charged with growing the drug as well as possessing it.
Judge Sara Sheldon Farkas, who took Fuller’s plea to attempted second-degree marijuana possession, said she will probably test him with six months of interim probation when he returns to court Sept. 25. The maximum sentence for the charge is 18 months in prison.
However, a condition of probation would be to avoid the use of drugs. Fuller admitted in court that he smoked pot Wednesday night.
