Lockport man arraigned on teen rape charges

LOCKPORT – A Lockport man pleaded not guilty in Niagara County Court Wednesday to charges that he had sex with an underage girl last year.

Damian J. Fuller, 26, of Saxton Street, is charged with two counts each of first- and third-degree rape. He is accused of having sex with a 16-year-old girl in an apartment on Robinson Road in the Town of Lockport Nov 2.

County Judge Sara Sheldon Farkas set $5,000 bail on Fuller, who failed to show up for a previous arraignment date July 1. Assistant Public Defender Michael E. Benedict said that was because the notice was mailed to the wrong address.
