Chautauqua County sheriff’s deputies make two aggravated DWI arrests

Chautauqua County sheriff’s deputies made two arrests Saturday morning for alleged aggravated driving while intoxicated.

At about 1:40 a.m. on Route 394 near Beaujean Road in Chautauqua, Ryan C. Jaynes, 30, of Westfield was charged with DWI and aggravated DWI for having a blood-alcohol content of more than 0.18 percent.

At about 4 a.m. on Fairmount Avenue in Ellicott, Frank Thompson III, 29, of Jamestown was charged with DWI and aggravated DWI for having a blood-alcohol content of more than 0.18. He was also cited for failure to signal a turn, failure to stop at a stop sign, failure to maintain lane and speeding.
