We should be outraged by killing of three teens
An American citizen, Naftali Fraenkel, and two other Israeli teenagers, Eyal Yifrach and Gilad Shaar, were killed in cold blood and left in a field by terrorists. This I found in a small column on page A3 in the “Around the World” section of the July 1 News. As I write this letter, I have heard no comments from our State Department and no outrage on the part of American citizens at home and abroad.
Is it because this teenager is a Jew studying in what is considered disputed land? Are American Jewish children now a different kind of American citizen? Is an American passport no longer something to hold with pride and confidence? Where is our government on this issue?
