South Dayton teen charged with felony for damage to village hall lights and picnic table.

SOUTH DAYTON – An 18-year-old village resident was charged with felony criminal mischief for allegedly breaking two light fixtures on the front of South Dayton Village Hall, as well as a village park picnic table, State Police based in Collins reported this morning.

Village officials notified authorities about the damage on June 25. Troopers interviewed neighbors and looked at images from surveillance cameras in the area.

Benjamin W. Burroughs, 18, was charged with third-degree criminal mischief and was scheduled to appear in village court in a month.
