Police are investigating two incidents on the University at Buffalo South Campus in which a man entered women’s restrooms, the university announced.

In incidents June 10 in Kapoor Hall and Tuesday in Diefendorf Hall, witnesses reported seeing an Asian male entering women’s restrooms. Witnesses told police the man may have been trying to photograph women in the June 10 incident, and the UB Police website includes video images of the man in that incident.

UB police say they are increasing patrols in the area and ask members of the university community to promptly report any suspicious persons or activities. Tips on campus crime can be reported at 645-2227 or anonymously at In case of emergency, dial 645-2222 or use any blue light phone on campus.
