WNY Land Conservancy sets Stella Niagara tour

LEWISTON – The Western New York Land Conservancy will host a private tour at the future home of the Stella Niagara Preserve from 1 to 3 p.m. July 13, at the property on Lower River Road along the Niagara River in Lewiston.

The location is across from the Stella Niagara Education Park, and is owned by the Sisters of St. Francis.

The Conservancy is working with the Sisters to acquire the property and create a publicly accessible nature preserve, and has already raised $2.3 million of the $3.2 million needed.

The tour, which costs $100 per person, is a fund-raiser for the Conservancy. Information and tickets are available by calling the Conservancy at 687-1225.
