LOCKPORT – Jason T. Dilar, 33, of Walmore Road, Wheatfield, pleaded guilty to a drug felony Friday, the last business day before his trial was to begin.

Dilar would have faced a Niagara County Court jury Monday on charges that he had .18 ounces of cocaine with the intention of selling it when Niagara Falls police stopped his car on Troy Avenue Aug. 15.

Dilar admitted to third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and was placed in a court-supervised drug treatment program by County Judge Sara Sheldon Farkas. Dilar risks nine years in prison if he doesn’t complete the treatment regimen.
